Sandra & Luchín invited me to Iquitos over a weekend for a Rainforest Engagement Session. We spent one day from early in the morning til sunset visiting different locations and taking photos. We started along the river in Santo Tomas and then, after a quick stop at a Papaya plantation we went to the Quistococha Reserve – the closest patch of rainforest around Iquitos. After lunch we took the boat to go up the Nanay river to some sandy river banks – a tropical fresh water beach. We spent the afternoon swimming and started taking photos as the sunset approached. After the the final image we had to run to escape the mosquitos.
