After photographing their civil wedding at the beach I met Emilia and Diego again for their religious wedding in Cieneguilla which lies in the hills just outside of Lima. This time they were going for an elegant rustic wedding which was designed and decorated with countless rustic details by The Backyard Company and Anavitarte Catering. Their wedding planners Sandra and Veronica organized the rest to guarantee that everything works out the way Bride and Groom imagined.
When I arrived Emilia was getting ready together with her bridesmaids and her mom at the private residence they had booked for their wedding. All of them had their hair done by Marco Antonio Diaz and their makeup by Ericka Gonzales. The reception was prepared at the same time in the garden.
Diego arrived when Emilia was almost ready to put on her dress but he had to pass his bride in order to get to the room where he was about to get ready. So everyone tried to shield Emilia from his view and Diego was holding up his shirt so he couldn’t see anything. When Emilia was in her room getting into her Wedding Dress by Enzoani he could finally leave, shave, put on his tie and drive to the nearby church.
A bit later Emilia arrived at the church, too. The religious ceremony just like the civil one before was loaded with little personal jokes from the priest that got everyone laughing. A very nice and emotional ceremony!
On the way from the church back to the reception we stopped at a little forrest patch at the river shores for the couple portraits and arrived just after sunset at the party where they had their first dance.

Considero que es lo más importante del matrimonio, porque es lo que vas a conservar para siempre (además de los recuerdos en la mente), lo que vas a compartir con tus hijos y nietos y lo que te hará volver a vivir ese día tan especial.”
