Despite the fact that Paracas with its nature reserve, bay and peninsula is known for its beaches and deserts this is rather a Country Wedding in Paracas. Daniel & Courtney visit Paracas regularly and therefore picked it as the location for their wedding. They had lots of guests arriving from the US who had to travel anyway and this way it turned into a destination wedding for everyone the same.

Courtney got ready with her friends and family in a private residence next the beach and Daniel in the luxurious Hotel Paracas. But the ceremony was not at the beach or with a view on the ocean as one would expect in Paracas. It was slightly outside of Paracas on big farm where Daniel’s family produces several fruits and vegetables as well as the popular and delicious pisco Huamani. So the drinks were cared for 🙂 The ceremony was set up right at the edge of an avocado plantation where the guests could find cover in the shadow of 2 big trees. For the photo session close to sunset we had all the different plantations just for us. A beautiful setting for a Country Wedding in Paracas but since this is Paracas Courtney and Daniel stayed with the desire for some photos in the Paracas Nature Reserve and we went back for a Desert After Wedding Shoot a couple of months later. The elegant reception was set up next to a house on the Fundo Huamani Farm and when we arrived back it was already getting dark. After the first dance people started to party hard.
