This has been the first Boda en Mancora I photographed. And I could not have asked for a better one. Mafe & Alejandro were excited but relaxed. They both just wanted to enjoy their wedding and have the greatest day ever. That includes the greatest party ever.
The venue was a hotel right at the beach. During the early afternoon bride and groom got ready each in another room. Alejandro entered the ceremony on the beach first. Soon after Mafe arrived at the altar accompanied by her father. At the sight of his soon to be wife Alejandro became quite emotional. And when the very personal speeches started you could see many of the guests fighting the tears during the ceremony.
Exiting the ceremony we went straight to the couple photo session along the beach while the guests entered the reception for cocktail hour. When we arrived it was already dark. The were screaming and cheering up when Mafe and Alejandro entered teh reception and the dance floor. After the wedding dance and parent dances everyone jumped at the newlyweds to congratulate and hug them. As the music became louder suddenly the power went off. No music, no light nothing. But instead of being a problem, people starting singing and jumping. Even a few drinks were thrown into the air before the lights went back on. And that set the theme for the evening. Despite a few more power shortages the party was amazing. Some of the guests I already knew from other weddings and knew they could party hard. Looking forward to the next  Boda en Mancora already.
