For this Wedding we have been taking photos literally all over Lima. The locations Cinthia and Alejandro picked lead to quite an itinerary for our Wedding Photography in Lima.
The day started with Cinthia getting ready together with her mother in the Westin Hotel. Half way through manicure, pedicure, makeup and hair (by Ianka Miranda) Cinthia’s champaign colored Wedding dress by Fátima Arrieta arrived at the hotel room. Just like the dress her shoes were custom made by LaLaLove with a engraving below.
We then drove to the historic city center for the ceremony. Cinthia and Alejandro got married in the Chapel Virgen de la O which, like the much bigger Church San Pedro, is part of the San Pedro Monastery which dates back to the early 17th century. When they read their vows to each other none of them could hide their emotions.
After the ceremony we escaped directly to the main square of Lima, the Plaza de Armas, to take a few photos with some of the iconic colonial buildings. The weather this day was beautifully sunny until we headed to the reception site at the beach of Punta Hermosa, south of Lima. On our way it seemed we were driving from summer into winter. They had rented the ancient greek styled Casa Leguia for their reception. This house was build right into the cliff above the beach and the pacific ocean. A spectacular location, especially if decorated by the amazing Meche Koechlin Catering.
