Working most of the time either in Germany or Peru the decision to keep my homepage simply in English doesn’t really help to be found by local couples. Future brides are looking for their vendors in German or Spanish for the most part. But every once in a while somebody is searching in English as in this case. Megan and Amaury live in the USA but took a long vacation in Peru visiting Amaury’s parents who live part of the year in Miraflores. Although they already had a small intimate civil wedding in the states and are legally married they spontaneously decided to have a wedding party in Lima – an Elopement in Peru.

To keep things simple and skip the paperwork there was no ceremony. So after Megan had her hair and make up done at Nando Mesía in Miraflores they got ready in their apartment close by. We then drove in an old classy Mercedes stretch limo to a few different places for some couple photos and then to the reception in a Beach Club (Sede de playa del Club Las Terrazas). From here on they had everything wedding should have: first dance, pulling the garter with the teeth, throwing the bouquet and even an “hora loca”. Living all their life in the states either Megan nor Amaury knew what that crazy latin wedding part is but enjoyed it anyway! Everyone was having a great party and it was fun to spend that day with them and take their photos!
