Celia and Marco have been looking forward to their Engaement Session right from the start. We were exchanging ideas, collecting images on pinterest and scouting locations before we finally decided where to go. I was quite into the idea to get out of Lima for a day so we drove to a picturesque little village in the Peruvian andes called Antioquia – not to be confused with the town in Colombia. It is about a 3 hours drive from Lima through mountains, valleys, plantations and little villages.
Even though we planned to use the entire afternoon time flew by to fast. We had so many ideas and brought so many things to use for the images… We started with photos right inside the colorful Antioquia which was completely empty at that time. People were either working in the fields outside the village or in Lima or were in School. So we could take photos without anyone or anything interrupting. When the sun went further down we went close to camping site for a little picnic only to be attacked by literally thousands of little mosquitos and flies. 😀
Should have known… We did our best to ignore that and enjoy and I think we did pretty well judging by the photos we got.
Last Saturday I photographed their emotional vintage-inspired Wedding in Chaclacayo, just outside Lima.
