Kristel and Thorsten met first on facebook and started writing each other. When Thorsten who is a passionate traveler and photographer spent his vacations on the Philippines, both finally met in person and fell in love. Then Kristel visited him in Germany and he visited her on the Philippines again until Thorsten proposed to her. After a lot of paperwork and a long struggle with German bureaucracy Kristel and Thorsten could finally get married in Thorsten’s hometown Hofheim, west of Frankfurt. Kristel’s family unfortunately was not able to come to the wedding so they celebrated the marriage at another wedding party on the Philippines without the couple 🙂

After getting ready very close to each other Thorsten surprised Kristel by having her picked up by a carriage. They got married in the Protestant Church of Langenhain by the Priest Thorsten has known for years. After the a drive through the fields with the carriage and some couple portraits the dinner and reception was planned in their favorite restaurant.
