Every wedding is unique and different for no couple and no love story equals another. But this wedding was so different from other weddings in so many ways! Talissa and Ruben were very creative and had a lot of details and ideas to personalize their wedding.
It was such a fun to be there with them and to photograph their wedding day although the day almost became a disaster: On my way to Ruben’s hotel my car’s waterpump broke and I had to leave my car at the nearest park and ride and take the metro to make it just in time to take a few quick pictures. Then Ruben and I caught the subway and he dropped me off at Talissa’s place to photograph her getting ready. He would then join us later for the civil ceremony where he arrived on a bike 😀
The ceremony was at the edge of the english garden and after it finished bride and groom had a little surprise for their guests. They had bought Flipflops for everyone to be more comfortable as the reception was at the Monopterus just inside the english garden and everybody could walk there. Only Talissa and Ruben were picked up by a horse wagen and had a small tour through the park and we took a few pictures together.
When we arrived everyone prayed together for the couple and their future. After everyone had a champaign and something to eat a preacher read some parts from the bible and talked about marriage. A few hours later they went to a small restaurant nearby to have dinner. At dusk some of their friends had organized candles, balloons and a surprise wedding cake. Shortly after Talissa and Ruben already had to rush with tuxedo and wedding dress to the train station in Munich to catch their night train to Paris where they spent their honeymoon. A lot of action going on this day and I was really tired when I remembered my broken car…
Sehr gelungene Hochzeitsreportage!
